A day out

I love it when photography friends call looking for a day out to go and shoot some new images. One such mate and I went up to Buderim Falls  on Thursday specifically to spend a few hours behind the camera, hoping to bring back something that would make the 1.5 hour road trip worthwhile.

Fortunately for us there had been enough rain over the last couple of weeks to have this gorgeous little waterfall happily tinkling down into the pool beneath but not so much that we couldn’t clamber (somewhat ungracefully on my behalf) over the rocks looking for better vantage points. Luck was also on our side weatherwise with deep cloud cover giving us perfect conditions for some longer exposure shots to get the lovely silky water look.

Hope you enjoy this little collection from what was a lovely day. Big thanks to Kelsey for thinking of me when needing to get out. Had a great time 🙂
