What I felt

So a few weeks ago my photo buddy Kelsey and I went to the Gold Coast for a shoot. The morning was gorgeous and I had a great time shooting the buildings (see The Gold Coast in Black and White). The afternoon however turned nasty with whipping winds and pounding waves. We drove out to the Southport Spit and had a bit of a play with the sand pumping jetty as well as the Gold Coast Seaway (the exit from the canals and rivers to the open ocean).

The images that follow are a set of mood images. They are more representational of how the scene felt rather than what the scene looked like. I thought I might try something a bit different (they won’t suit everybody but I liked them). Hope that the weather where you are is nicer than this lot 🙂
